Who We Are
Sometime towards the end of 1947, the then leading practicing Accountants being Registered Accountants and/or Incorporated Accountants (England & Wales) decided to form the Accountants’ Library. They were actively encouraged by the then Commissioners of Income Tax, Late S.D.Nargorwala and Late N.Dandekar. They were kind enough to provide a modest accommodation in the main Income Tax Building in Kolkata for the use by the members of the Accountants’ Library.
